Dr. Kanwardeep Singh completed his MBBS in1996 from Govt. Medical College Amritsar and MD (Microbiology) in 2001 from same institute. In 2002, he underwent training in molecular diagnostic techniques. In May 2005, he attended observership programme in diagnostic ophthalmic microbiology under the guidance of Dr. (Mrs.) Savitri Sharma at Jhaveri Microbiology Centre of L.V. Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderbad. He has done research work on diagnostic techniques for Anaerobic bacteria, Helicobacter pylori, Chlamydiae pneumoniae and Chlamydiae trachomatis. He has published papers in journals of national and international repute. He is life member of Indian Association of Medical Microbiologists.
Presently he looks after our laboratory services and is also associated with S.G.R.D. Institute of Medical Sciences and Research as Assistant Professor.
